This board was delicious to make - I really mean it - Mauro (owner) cooked up some amazing pizza for lunch while we drew. 🤤 The chalkboard tells the story behind the family’s love of food and tradition going back generations in Italy. We combined family history that including a move from Italy to Canada along with their family tree. No personal touch was missed - the calligraphy border was taken from a handwritten recipe of Mauro’s mother. Want to tell the story of your family business? (Me) Ciao!Feeling like you're stuck between a rock and a hard place? 🙃 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I came across this psychedelic Stonehenge on one of my last trips to Nevada. At first look - they don't really fit in with the stark desert landscape. They seem out of place. But the fact is, these unique painted rocks bring a whole new perspective, a fresh, colourful, new spice to the area. What do you do to stand out? Keep on Rockin on! 🤘First person who can find the sloth WINS! ✨ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This dreamy detailed couples board was originally planned to be displayed at Vicky & Tom's July wedding - the pandemic had other plans though. The upside was that we had more time to add ALL the details. This piece was a 'morning-of-the-wedding-surprise' from the groom to the bride - she had no clue! 😯 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Ever wonder how we make these? Here's how it goes down: • Tom filled out our questionnaire • He added additional facts along with some pics (the flowers were from their invitation design) • We spent a week designing our concept • Tom gave us feedback • We made tweaks • He approved • We started drawing • Their wedding was pushed • We were happy to have more time, but sad for them • We continued drawing • We took a break so our eyes wouldn't bleed • We finished drawing... finally! • We packed it up pretty • Vicky opened it morning of the wedding • Vicky & Tom were married... finally! • The couples board was displayed at the reception • The End ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Sadly COVID has destroyed the possibilities of having an EPIC wedding bash.
